It was great to get another win in my second game for Shreveport.
LeTourneau is only an hour or so drive from Shreveport – it’s one of the closer away games. It was a hard fought game – although I didn’t have much to do. We were unlucky to go in 1-0 down at the break. We had dominated the game but couldn’t get a breakthrough and LeTourneau scored with their only real shot of the half – a worldie strike that flew into the top corner. Bit gutted about not keeping a clean sheet!
The second half continued in much the same way with Shreveport dominating the possession and chances, Eventually the hard work paid off and we got the couple of goals we deserved. LeTourneau came back at us towards the end of the game but we held out for the win.
