We travelled to Hattiesburg in Mississippi last Friday for a game against William Carey University. We stayed over Friday night and the game was meant to be on Saturday but got rained off so we stayed an extra night in order to play the game on Sunday.
We had a team-building night where we sang some karaoke – there’s a clip of me online somewhere but I’m not adding it here!
Unfortunately, things didn’t go to plan. We didn’t play well and we got beat 4-0. Not great, but we’re still learning as a team. The write up of the game is here: https://www.lsusathletics.com/article/1846
We were quickly back playing though with another game on Tuesday against The Southwestern Assemblies of God. This was much better with LSUS winning 6-0. It was great to get my first clean sheet. Unfortunately one of our guys was seriously hurt and looks to be out for the season (get well soon Tom). You can read the write up of this game here: https://www.lsusathletics.com/article/1848
See below for some clips from the game. Watch out for the Cruyff turn! …
