I came here for the hot weather – not for this!
All the snow has melted away now thankfully and temperatures have returned to something close to normal. The university has been shut for the past couple of weeks though – they’re not used to this kind of weather here – so classes have been online. It should all be back to normal next week.
Today we played against local rivals LSU Alexandria. Things looked a bit dicey earlier though as the heavens opened and we had to clear a lot of surface water off the pitch. Conditions weren’t great but we played well and fully deserved a 2-0 win. I was very happy to get a clean sheet. The rest of the team seemed pretty happy too!!! …
